Hospital Data Center UPS Solution

Camali Corp was invited to bid on a project to replace two UPSs at Hoag Hospital—one serving the campus’s main data center and the other in the hospital itself. Unlike other bidders, Camali Corp took an innovative approach, recommending that Hoag retain the existing UPS at the hospital and instead integrate the new UPS into the configuration. This strategic adjustment created redundancy, a critical feature for mission-critical data centers, and highlighted Camali Corp’s ability to think “outside the box,” ultimately securing the project.

The installation of the new UPSs was carried out flawlessly, with zero downtime to Hoag’s critical equipment. This ensured that both patients and staff at Hoag Hospital experienced no disruptions during the upgrade process. Since the successful project completion, Camali Corp has installed additional UPSs at the facility and continues to provide ongoing preventive maintenance, further supporting Hoag’s commitment to reliability and excellence.
